Location: Breslau, ON
Target audience: Females, infant (3 months – 11 months), kindergarten age (4 – 5 years), males, newborn (including expecting mother), persons with a disability, persons with an intellectual disability, persons with mental health disabilities, school age (6 – 12 years), and toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, work overtime as required, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus, be dependable, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and be flexible
- The candidates should show initiative, have good judgment, be organized, and be reliable
- The candidates should be patient, demonstrate honesty, and have the ability to multitask
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to administer medications, assist clients in water (e.g., pool), and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidate should be able to assist in regular exercise (e.g., walking), change non-sterile dressings, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidate should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide companionship
- The candidate should be able to provide personal care, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and cook
