Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH), or are open to obtaining within 6-12 months of hire
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of one year of Administrative experience, preferably in finance

  • The candidates should be able to maintain compliance standards in client dealings and client files
  • The candidates should be able to conduct administrative activities and engage in processes that support Investment Advisors (IAs) and their teams
  • The candidates should be able to participate in all marketing and business development activities and assist in the development of investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients
  • The candidates should be able to assist in directing assets into suitable financial products based on client risk-reward tolerances and demographic profiles and connect with clients on a personal level to ensure meaningful interactions
  • The candidates should be able to enhance client relationships by collaborating with the team and providing administrative support to meet client and respond to client requests promptly, answer questions, and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • The candidates should be able to build relationships and increase CIBC brand awareness in the community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities
  • The candidates should be able to grow their network to create lasting connections that may lead to future opportunities and work closely with their team to connect clients with suitable opportunities and financial products
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills by ensuring timely responses to client requests and maintaining compliance standards in all client files
  • The candidates should be able to support team productivity, proactively uncover business opportunities, and contribute to directing assets into appropriate financial products
