Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, work in physically demanding conditions, and be capable of standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, demonstrate dependability, exhibit flexibility, be team players, and be quick learners

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, set up and adjust production machinery/tools, and fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • The candidates should be able to set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
