Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of minimum 3 year diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years experience as a business analyst and proficiency in Peoplesoft Payroll, Workforce Admin, Time and Labour and Absence Management, PeopleQuery, SQL and Human Resources
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in Workforce Administration, Time and Labor, and Absence Management, with equivalencies
- The candidates should be proficient in PeopleQuery, SQL, and Human Resources
- The candidates should possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access, with the ability to manipulate data effectively
- The candidates should have reporting experience using the PeopleSoft Query tool
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work with the Senior Business Analyst to apply enhancements, modifications, and upgrades for existing systems and troubleshoot production issues related to the HRIS System(s) and interfaces
- The candidates should be able to create functional documentation, test, and implement system changes, collaborating with various teams across IT and other departments throughout the project lifecycle or while troubleshooting production issues
- The candidates should be able to work on projects encompassing benefits, compensation, payroll, time and labor, performance management, learning, absence management, professional development, IT recruitment projects, and external interfaces
- The candidates should be able to provide recommendations for the effectiveness of the system, participate in end-to-end project deployment, contribute to design workshops, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- The candidates should be able to support the Senior Business Analyst in HRIS support, troubleshooting production issues, and developing system and user documentation, including security and reporting query, SQL. They should also make recommendations for process improvement and efficient management of HRIS system(s)
- The candidates should be able to recommend enhancements and modifications to systems and processes aimed at increasing productivity, and collaborate with others to evaluate new technologies
- The candidates should be able to maintain a comprehensive understanding of HRIS systems, support integration with other systems, and stay informed about current developments in technology, collective agreements, and best practices. They should work with team members to support and coordinate unit projects
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties and activities such as tax updates, year-end changes, workforce administration, and handling other PeopleSoft modules
