Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer Government’s insurance policies encompassing a diverse suite of insurance lines
- The candidates should be able to coordinate the annual renewal of general insurance policies
- The candidates should be able to prepare and evaluate proposals submitted to meet Government’s insurance requirements
- The candidates should be able to prepare analysis and recommendations on insurance policies and coverages
- The candidates should be able to recommend and review insurance requirements for government contracts, leases, and licensing agreements and monitor compliance with these requirements
- The candidates should be able to provide professional insurance and risk management advice, recommendations, and analysis to government departments and agencies, including policy interpretations
- The candidates should be able to compile statistics, complete jurisdictional analysis, and monitor trends in the general insurance and risk management fields
